well, my dad and i are surprising her with tickets for the musical, which coincidentally released in chicago the day after her birthday.

the new york post gave it a bad review, but i can see them missing the whole whimsy of the thing. fuck broadway, anyway. i'll never understand the infamy of andrew lloyd webber's "cats". so there. and i'm an andrew lloyd webber fan (and that is an understatement. i've seen phantom of the opera live 6 times in my life, not to mention the children's version... and i read the translation of the original french novel several times as well). anyway. that is tomorrow. i'm pretty excited for it.
